For the job seeker in the Metro Detroit area, there are a growing number of resources to help one to not go it alone while tackling their job search. We are honored to also be one of those resources. Our church has had a long history, going back to 2001 of offering a variety of Career Transition support services. Today, we feel we have one of the best resources, with a leadership team that cares and invests time in helping others. Our goal is to help those searching for their next job, to land it with confidence.

Summer Kick Off
June 23rd @ 6:00 PM
Meets Wednesday's till Sept. 8th
Workshop Focus:
AT THIS WORKSHOP we will focus on your future by getting past the past Our workshop leader, Barb Wilson, will bring a wealth of practical experience as a hiring manager, author, and professional speaker. First timer, or past CSW'er, if your job search needs an infusion of energy, then come and bring a friend along with you.
Workshop Highlights:
We will help you get past the loss of a job, a career or a dream. Move to that place called the future. It is very difficult to have a successful job search if one is dwelling on the past. Feeling hurt, anger, bitterness, and feeling like a victim is not healthy nor is it good for a job search. Employers don't hire hurting candidates.
We will see how moving to a positive attitude can and will affect the outcome of finding your next career position. We will suggest a few methods for getting past the "why" of your situation.
• Why will bitterness hinder
the job search?
• What does the Book say
about loss?
• What can be done to get
back on track?
• Who is in control of the
circumstances?
• Getting past the "WHY ME?
Be a friend by bringing a friend.
